Doctrinal Notes

This song was not intended to be a deep theological discourse. It is a song of prayer to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 4:2 says,

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Therefore, it is important that we as Christians be “found faithful” since we are stewards of the new life God has given to us.

An evangelist at our church, after the end of his last message, asked the question, “Are you gonna stay on fire for Jesus?” Indeed, this song must not be just a song we sing some Sunday—it should be our heart’s constant prayer!

I hope this song challenges and convicts you to be “found faithful” this year—and every one after that, till the day the Lord returns. Remember, “the time is short; There’s so much to do.” So go make a difference for Him!
